KTM 790 Adventure / KTM 890 Adventure S3Parts Skid Plate

The S3Parts skid plate for KTM 790 Adventure and KTM 890 Adventure, reference UK-1702, has been developed to protect the engine and frame during Trail and Adventure routes and demanding off-road riding.
It is made from 8 mm thick HDPE plastic, an impact-resistant material that creates a continuous surface designed to slide over rocks, logs and other obstacles found on technical terrain.
Its seamless, joint-free construction provides extensive coverage underneath the motorcycle. It protects the frame, engine, engine covers, water pump, suspension linkage and suspension mounting area against impacts, mud and sand.
The design incorporates ventilation openings that improve airflow and help reduce the overall weight. Its shape is also designed to limit the accumulation of mud and dirt around the engine.
The HDPE material prevents the vibrations and resonances associated with some metal guards while maintaining a durable construction for off-road riding.
