Quick installation guide:
- Remove the old pump from the handlebar.
- Unscrew the hose without Pour out the fluid.
- Screw the hose onto the new master cylinder.
- Place and adjust the master cylinder on the handlebars.
- Once on the bike, place the master cylinder completely perpendicular to the ground. Remove the top cover and check the mineral oil level. Next, gently squeeze the lever to see if any air that may have accumulated in the circuit can be evacuated through the clutch master cylinder. It is common to see small bubbles coming out of the top.
- If by step 5 you don't notice a clear response from the lever, proceed to bleed the circuit from the opposite end of the hose, right where it connects to the crankcase. To do this, press the clutch lever and, keeping it squeezed, open the bleed screw with a long, transparent tube to observe the escape of air bubbles. Close the screw again and pump several times. We repeat the process until we achieve a firm and precise feel.
- Once the hydraulic circuit is bled and has a firm feel, we simply adjust the clutch lever pusher screw to find the feel we like.
