Trial suspensions are an important component in trial bikes, since they allow to absorb the impacts and vibrations that occur during the practice of this sport. The main purpose of the suspension is to keep the wheel in contact with the ground to provide optimum traction and proper control.
Trial bikes generally have front and rear suspension, and there are several types of suspension available on the market, including the following:
- Telescopic forks: These are the most common and consist of two slider tubes that ride on internal tubes.
- Monoshock: is a type of rear suspension that uses a single shock absorber.
In general, trial suspensions they have shorter travel than other bikes, and their setup focuses on providing quick response and adjustability to suit different types of terrain and riding styles.
