Metric 4 Air Suspension Test

We have tested the new Metric 4 air suspensions, a suspension that eliminates the spring inside the bar and manages to be 1.5Kg lighter than its direct competition, the Tech bars.

Lighter and more customizable

The Metric 4suspensions have two main features that set them apart from their competition; customization and lightness, we'll explain it to you in parts:

First of all, the Metric 4 suspensions are 1.5 kg lighter than the aluminum Tech bars. This difference in weight is noticeable from the very first minute when riding the bike, you feel a lighter bike and it's easier to make changes with the front wheel.

And secondly, the Metric 4 suspension can be customized without changing any part, just by connecting a bicycle suspension pump and changing the air pressure inside the suspension.

Let's talk about sensations on the bike

The first sensation when you get on the bike is a radical change in the weight of the bike. It now feels much lighter and freer in the front end. In the first areas you notice a very manageable bike and with great ease to make changes with the front wheel. Once you assimilate this weight loss of the front end, we begin to notice the operation of the suspension, and, although at first you do not notice much of a difference, when you look for the limit of the suspensions you discover some quite radical suspensions. As for radical, we mean that the M4 suspension has an ideal behavior for areas with steps and indoors. The rebound of the bars is perfect for climbing steps and helping with the suspensions to move the bike.
